BackBoris on Campus in 2012

As the BackBoris campaign moves into the last few months and Election Day rapidly approaches, the BackBoris on campus is picking up even more momentum. BackBoris on Campus Bootcamp

On Wednesday 7th December, the campaign is hosting a special BackBoris on Campus Bootcamp for university students. The evening begins at 6pm in central London with a keynote speech by the Mayor himself.

During the Bootcamp you'll get a strategic insight into campaigning, hear from some of the most experienced campaign directors around and take part in a series of breakout sessions where you will receive some of the best political and media training available. All of which will empower you to go out and campaign effectively on and off campus and play a significant role in returning Boris as Mayor of London on the 3rd of May 2012.

London students are Backing Boris in droves - BackBoris on Campus teams have signed up over 1,300 new supporters at Freshers Fairs across the capital.

Kings College London are leading the way nearly 550 new members, followed closely by Westminster, who accumulated 420. With Queen Mary and Kingston both passing the 100 mark, and the newly created University of Greenwich, University of East London and BPP teams enjoying successful fairs, the message about Boris's strong record on cutting crime, investing in transport and creating opportunities for young Londoners is reaching a wide, new audience.
