How to help GOTV
With just 10 days to go, hundreds of thousands of Londoners have been receiving their postal vote forms and are already casting their votes for Mayor and London Assembly members.
In 2008 postal votes helped Boris secure City Hall and the next few days are key to ensuring that we once again turn out our postal voters.
There are 3 key ways you can help our Get Out The Postal Vote effort:
- If you have a postal vote, fill in your form now and post it as soon as possible;
- Join us at the call centre or make calls from home to encourage Londoners to vote and return their forms ASAP; and
- Remind your family, friends and colleagues who have postal votes to place their cross next to Boris and return their forms.
It's also important that we keep spreading the word about Boris's 9 point plan to secure Greater London's future: www.backboris2012.com/9pointplan
The Mayoral election on 3rd May comes at a critical time. Londoners are going through one of the toughest periods in recent memory. But despite this, there are signs of progress that have resulted from a fresh and honest approach at City Hall.
Boris's determination to end the waste and mismanagement of the previous Mayor has freed up the money to pay for a strong plan for our future. The plan puts that money where Londoners want to see it spent in spite of the very difficult financial circumstances. It protects investment at a time when budgets are being cut elsewhere and focuses on the things that will create jobs and get Londoners through tough times.
See you soon on the campaign trail and thanks for your support! www.backboris2012.com/events
