Bye bye bendy, bye bye

Something has just disappeared from Stratford Broadway and in its place has come sense.
Yes, bendy buses have ceased to run the Number 25 route. I took my final bendy bus trip on the number 25 route on Friday night and it was a great feeling knowing these unsuitable beasts are being removed from the capital's streets!
As Mayor Boris Johnson said, "These writhing whales of the road have swung their hefty rear ends round our corners for the final time."
The 25 is the latest route to scrap the ghastly bendy with the rest set to be phased out in the coming months.
Most of the people my friends and I spoke to on the bus last night were glad to see the back of the bendy and were looking forward to the new routemaster-style buses being brought into service at the end of this year.
Both on the bus and at Stratford Broadway we spread the word to our fellow bus users, then waved goodbye to the much loathed vehicles. We will not miss them.
Congrats to Boris for delivering on another of his pledges!
