WATCH: Election promises
With an election looming, Ken Livingstone is promising to cut fares. It's his big pitch to Londoners. But many will think, "Haven't we heard this all before?"
Londoners need to judge him by what he does, not what he says. Let's face it, this isn’t the first time Ken’s promised to cut fares before an election, only to hike them straight after.
And let's not forget about his record breaking council tax increases, which cost the average household £963.58.
In these tough times, Londoners deserve to know the truth about the true cost of Ken's election promises:
Mayor Boris Johnson is fighting this election to keep taking our city forward. To cut crime, invest in transport, re-vitalise our economy and keep taxes low.
